There has been a recall on some delivered models in regards to the catalytic converter, and the seat belt sensor, That was quick!
Images from mustang6g.com
On the Mustang6g page, many Mustang enthusiasts have had their new ponies delivered to them this past week, but now people are already having some complaints; such as the Shaker audio system sounding not up to par, the quiet exhaust(I can attest to this with experience); the top two however, is the titular recall that includes some delivery holds, and the problem of panel gaps and QC(quality control), it's very noticeable. Some have even gone to dealers and have found the same gap issues.
Take a look at these pics from owners..(Some of these pics are taken at dealers as well)
The trunk gap:
The hood:

While this is unfortunate for some, and I like Mustangs, I like to think of the irony of this situation and maybe even for some 1st year cars..
On one hand: Everyone wants their cars NOW
On the other hand: Everyone complains that their cars have tons of issues after they get them NOW
Lesson here, is if you get a first year production car, you're gonna have a bad time some issues. It just happens.
Waiting for the "no longer Honda Accord, but unreliable Chevy Camaro" jokes to come in..

No surprise there. I expected things like this to happen. Some people have had their cars built and awaiting shipment, however Ford scrapped them for QC reasons. So they had to re order.
Also I've heard some good things about the new shaker, maybe some people just expected way to much. The way this car was built alone helps the speaker quality.
For those complaining about alignment issues should see my hood! At least that's an easy fix. I just have to actually get up and do it...

The 2012 Ford Focus SE that I DD is a first-MY car. It had a couple of creaks - one when the clutch pedal would be pressed in, the other from the suspension when the car would go over speed bumps. Oddly enough, they went away after taking it into the dealer for oil changes despite not being explicitly addressed AFAIK. The only thing "wrong" with the car is that there's a typo - "Gear Shifiting" - in the Eco display.
I've had a good experience with the car, but now I think I'd rather wait for issues to be fleshed out and addressed when something I really want goes on sale.

Exactly. If I still want a Stang out of college, most if not all of the kinks should be out by then.

But don't you see? By the time you are ready, they'll have already announced a new generation coming in 2 years!

Oh I know, I've been following this car before it existed. I think all of the disappointment (despite the praise it gets) is because everyone expected something Ford can't really provide yet.
Basically, some cars are having issues and Ford isn't releasing them. It could be anything causing it really. But apparently the issue is so severe they couldn't send out a few cars. A couple of the first cars dealers got had a hood latch issue. It's an easy fix though.

Karma, goes around comes around? The Camaro was made fun of by the Mustang people for recalls, weight, catfish jokes. Now its being recalled, gained a few, and looks like a fish imo.

Could be. But that's not necessarily a bad thing either; better early rather than GM's "how many years late" recall. ;)

I saw my first '15 this week. It was parked on the side of the highway for over 24 hours. Not sure why it was there, but I doubt it was for advertising.
Here's how you fix those recalls. Take out the cats, change the mufflers, get a tune, recaros with harnesses. Done.

Such a shame that many of the 2015s come of the assbly line with alignment issues with body panels, so easy to see it when looking at them a dealer just not the quality you would expect for how much these cars are now. A 22 grand Mazda has better fit and finish the Mustangs, and don’t me started with the front cooled seat issue that ford has no fix for what’s the point having the option there if it doesn’t work on majority of cars. Quality sure ain’t top of the list but making them as quick as possible to makes money as fast as possible is and the quality suffers
